Mystery School

Every school has a story to tell. This ThingLink was submitted to Bring the Textbook to Life without a location tag. Let's see if we can learn more about the Mystery School.

"This school was just built after our old one was destroyed by an EF5 Tornado. The picture was taken a year after our entire town was destroyed."

As we begin the 3rd week of the our Classroom Creative Challenge, we would like to pause for a moment to highlight the school images displayed in the Book Channel below, share my story to illustrate one approach to completing the creative challenge, and collect some feedback from participants to get the most out of the learning. We also want to give busy students and teachers some time to catch up or join us. This project gets better with a lot of participation!

It is clear now that the most important task for this challenge is to share an interactive image of your school, and then build on that by participating in additional challenges as time allows.

Pollution Party Images

I've been teaching 5th graders to use images to construct knowledge. As they create their images I continually ask them to explain their learning through the use of clear and concise words. I do see some evidence here that all of the promting is encouraging students to interact with the content!

Customize Colors on Tags w/ ThingLink

Reposting from the ThingLink Blog

One of our most requested features has been the ability to customize the fonts and colors of rich media tags - aka the pop-ups!

We are happy to announce that these features are now available to ThingLink PRO, Whitelabel, and VIP users.

More customization options will allow you to match the look and feel of your tags with the graphic style of your images and videos.  Using brand colors and font styles enhances the additional layer of information on your media.
  1. Change tag pop-up color
  2. Change font color and size
  3. Four font choices: Arial, Verdana, Tahoma & Times New Roman
Here are a couple of examples of what you can do:

Here is a how the feature appears in the editor.

We hope you enjoy the new features and as always, please keep us in the loop with any cool projects you're working on!
